Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer Location: Belfast Technologies: Angular, Azure About our client: Our client are a tech for good business based in Belfast. They operate across the EU and US providing donations support to large organisations worldwide. Job Description: We are seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our client’s growing Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Typescript development and Angular, with a passion for UX and elegant modular projects. As a member of their team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects working with their data scientists, backend engineers, product team and designers to build a great customer experience. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Angular frontend applications using best practices such as component-driven design and micro-frontends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product specialists, and designers to understand requirements and translate them into UI solutions. Optimize performance and manage bundle size of our UI. Implement effective automated testing to avoid regressions Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in frontend development and UX. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, and modern CSS and/or CSS frameworks. Knowledge of RESTful API design and interaction. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with UI automated testing. Proficiency in creating, debugging and maintaining CI/CD. Data pipelines / ETL knowledge is advantageous. Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous. Familiarity with monorepo tools such as Turborepo is advantageous.
