Enterprise Architect (Operational Technology) 3 Month Rolling contract Up to £900 p/d Inside IR35 On site – London / Birmingham 2/3 days per week Position Overview: We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Enterprise Architect – Integration Specialist to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in driving the organisation’s IT strategy by designing and implementing cutting-edge integration solutions that align with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop Integration Strategies: Craft and implement robust integration frameworks to enable seamless data exchange and alignment with business objectives. Architectural Leadership: Provide end-to-end architectural guidance across projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and industry best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to define requirements, identify integration opportunities, and deliver effective solutions. Technology Assessment: Evaluate and recommend state-of-the-art integration tools, platforms, and technologies to meet evolving organisational needs. Documentation and Governance: Develop detailed architecture blueprints, including integration patterns, workflows, and technical specifications. Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and compliance standards. Continuous Innovation: Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies. Champion best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement in integration architecture. Qualifications and Experience: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent technical qualifications will also be considered. Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on integration technologies and strategies. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or IBM Integration Bus. Strong knowledge of APIs, SOA, microservices, and cloud integration techniques. Leadership Abilities: Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving architectural innovation. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Adept at analysing complex integration challenges and delivering practical, innovative solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman. Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
