We produce a range of business-to-business websites, magazines, and events focused on luxury fashion and jewellery, healthcare, hospitality, and catering for professionals.

ITP Media Group is looking for a dynamic, tenacious Events Manager to lead the execution of its stable of industry and consumer events across brands including Watchpro, Boutique Hotelier, Professional Jeweller and many more. As an experienced events professional, you will be well versed in managing demanding clients and stakeholders, while also keeping a tight rein on suppliers and budget management. You will have a passion for big ideas and creative executions, along with a keen understanding that overall success often lies in paying attention to the small details.

Requirements
  • Power the continued innovation of our events portfolio – an innate sense of creativity and a hunger for new executions is a must for this role.
  • Work with the division’s Editorial Director and Commercial Director to plan both brand and client-led events.
  • Develop an annual calendar and plans for the delivery of the group’s portfolio of events, and provide ongoing reporting.
  • Ensure budgets are agreed and set at the planning stage, and ensure all events are delivered within budget.
  • End-to-end management of events across a broad spectrum of scales, from industry-facing gala dinners seating 500 people.
  • Develop work breakdown structures, cost tracking, procurement and project plans, ensuring all stakeholders are clear on an event’s objectives and metrics for success.
  • Manage internal and external clients, as well as event partners and sponsors.
  • Build and manage a network of suppliers across verticals including AV, build and fabrication, furnishing, fit-out and entertainment.
  • Ensure events are delivered to a high standard, and in accordance with the department’s brand guidelines, goals and objectives.
  • Identify new IPs and event formats that will work across our brands, and work with the Editorial Director and the Commercial Director to bring your ideas to life in a way that works for our audience and our business objectives.
  • Have your finger on the pulse – constantly identifying the next big thing across the industry, and using that knowledge to elevate and enhance ITP Media Group’s event offering.
Skills/Knowledge:
  • Event Planning & Execution: Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver events from concept to completion.
  • Budget Management: Skilled in managing event budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring profitability.
  • Project Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Experienced in sourcing and managing third-party suppliers, venues, and contractors.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Knowledge of event marketing strategies, including digital promotion, social media, and audience engagement.
  • Risk Management & Health & Safety: Understanding of legal, compliance, and health & safety requirements for public and private events.
  • Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing clients, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
  • On-Site Event Coordination: Able to remain calm under pressure and solve problems in real time during live events.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using event management software, CRM platforms, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or 3 years equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of industry related experience.
  • Industry knowledge of building and managing conferences, gala dinners and experiential marketing.
