A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented litigation solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded dispute resolution department in central London. The firm is known for its discreet, high-value commercial litigation work, often involving complex cross-border issues, urgent injunctive relief, and strategic advice at partner level.
You will work closely with a senior partner whose practice encompasses a wide range of commercial, financial and insolvency-related disputes. This is an excellent role for a technically strong, driven solicitor who thrives in a lean, collegiate team and is seeking greater involvement, responsibility, and exposure to major cases.
The firm has a strong reputation in complex litigation, acting for a diverse client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, private equity and hedge funds, banks, corporates, trustees, and insolvency professionals. Their work often involves:
- Contractual disputes and shareholder litigation
- Fraud and asset tracing
- Injunctive relief (freezing, search, anti-suit)
- Insolvency and restructuring disputes
- Reputation management and privacy-related claims
- Trusts and estate litigation

Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in managing a broad portfolio of commercial litigation matters, including international and domestic disputes
- Drafting and managing High Court proceedings, including pleadings, witness statements, applications and evidence
- Supporting urgent and strategic applications for injunctive relief
- Liaising with counsel, experts, and overseas lawyers in cross-border matters
- Undertaking legal research and advising on litigation strategy
- Working closely with the lead partner to support business development and client management
- Assisting in mentoring more junior lawyers, trainees and other team members, as appropriate
About You
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 1 year of solid commercial litigation experience
- Experience in complex High Court litigation, ideally involving financial services, fraud, or insolvency
- Comfortable handling fast-moving and urgent matters, including interim relief applications
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
- A pragmatic, strategic thinker who is confident working directly with clients
- Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work independently where appropriate
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a partner-led, high-quality disputes team
