You’ll be working in advised life insurance/protection, learning from highly experienced managers. Provided with leads, you’ll be expected to be proactive at networking and capitalising on the fantastic add-on, up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. It’s crucial that you bring solid sales experience with at least a year’s track record within the general insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with customers, delivering high-quality advice whilst building rapport and understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Providing tailored, trusted recommendations on products and services, ensuring your customers make informed decisions.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets through proactive and professional client interactions.
  • Complying with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Staying abreast of the latest products and market trends.
What the role requires:
  • Candidates should be ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and resilient with a positive and growth mindset.
  • A proven track record of (minimum) one year in insurance sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple way that’s easy to understand.
  • To be passionate about delivering exceptional service (including after sale) and building trust with customers.
  • The motivation to achieve goals, meet targets and rise to challenges.
  • Skills in analysing customer data and identifying trends.
  • To be a natural negotiator, highly skilled at reaching accurate, informed decisions.
  • Confidence to use your initiative, thriving on challenges, quick to adopt innovation and think on your feet.
  • A great attention to detail and time management.
  • Computer literacy.
  • To be a strong team player and self-manager.
  • Educated to GCSE level, you’ll either hold relevant certifications or be willing to undertake necessary training (e.g., financial services qualifications) if relevant.
  • Ideally, you’ll be able to drive, hold a clean licence and have access to a car.

Benefits include £35k base salary, with incredible commission and bonus incentives, so OTE £60k. An attractive compensation and benefits package. Flexible, attractive working environment, located in either Norwich or the greater Guildford area. Hybrid working available after initial three-month training/probation period. Hybrid working set days are Monday and Friday; one other office-based day of your choice, and 2 days working from home (dependent on the business needs) plus Free parking. Competitive holiday allowance, rising with tenure – and three-day Christmas leave guarantee, you will also have access to an on-call doctor & employee health/support line 24/7 plus a stakeholder pension.
