DNA Recruit are working with a global experiential agency who are seeking a skilled and passionate Technical Project Manager to join a fast-paced production team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of high-profile events – including virtual, hybrid, live shows, showcases, and installations – for both B2B and B2C audiences.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initial brief through to onsite delivery, ensuring technical excellence, safety, and client satisfaction at every stage.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of technical event projects, from planning to on-site delivery.
  • Collaborate with producers and technical teams to interpret briefs and create technical specifications.
  • Develop detailed project documentation: schedules, equipment lists, budgets, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Oversee onsite delivery, managing crews and third-party suppliers, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during rigging, live events, and derig phases.
  • Maintain quality, safety, and budget standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support large-scale events and mentor junior team members as needed.

You will need a strong technical background in event production (lighting, video, audio, staging, etc.). Experience managing live and hybrid corporate events. Proactive problem solver, able to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions quickly. Highly organised, with exceptional scheduling and communication skills. Comfortable working independently and under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Full UK driving license, own transport, and valid passport. Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally. Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in event environments.
