Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Quality Automation Engineer to join a dedicated delivery squad. The successful candidate will work alongside frontend, backend, and mobile engineers, as well as a Product Owner, to ensure the quality and reliability of the platform. The role will involve both manual and automated testing, with a focus on developing robust test automation using Playwright, Pytest, and Allure Reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and the Product Owner to understand feature requirements, acceptance criteria, and risk areas.
• Conduct thorough manual and exploratory testing of new features and bug fixes.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and functional tests, integrating them into the existing automation framework.
• Enhance the automated regression suite to improve coverage, speed, and reliability.
• Participate in squad ceremonies to represent quality assurance.
• Provide clear, actionable bug reports and track issues to resolution.
• Share product and domain knowledge to foster quality across the development lifecycle.

Skills & Experience:Essential:

• Strong Python coding experience
• Experience with Playwright or Selenium
• Proven experience in QA/testing roles within SaaS or web application environments.
• Strong manual testing and exploratory testing skills.
• Ability to analyse requirements, identify gaps, and define test scenarios.
• Familiarity with agile development and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with risk, security, or threat intelligence platforms.
• API and mobile application testing experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
