Antac is a dedicated team of 500 facilities-related professionals across the UK, seeking a HSE Director to oversee our Health and Safety team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Health and Safety professional to influence senior leadership and improve safety performance in a rapidly expanding organization. The role involves shaping strategic direction and maintaining a hands-on approach to embed safety and sustainability culture throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the HSE team; identify and provide necessary training.
- Cultivate a safety-first culture, ensuring HSE practices are integrated into all operations.
- Monitor compliance with HSE procedures and KPIs; implement corrective actions.
- Manage risk and maintain ISO accreditations and IMS standards.
- Lead incident investigations and report performance metrics to the Board.
- Represent the company on all HSE matters, positioning it as an industry leader.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven senior HSE leadership experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, or Construction.
- Qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, CMIOSH, IEMA.
- Knowledge of ISO Management Systems and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Experience managing large, dispersed teams and driving cultural change.
