My client is seeking a Site Chemist to join their team based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, with previous experience in the Waste Management industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe operation of the site
- Waste handling
- Liaising with site management

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with site permits and waste acceptance regulations
- Oversee safe operation of the site and waste handling
- Monitor quality and compliance, submit non-conformance reports and invoices on time
- Maintain a paperwork trail for all processed/repacked waste to ensure traceability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Previous experience as a Site Chemist, Lab Analyst, or similar is desirable
- Good laboratory practice and H&S knowledge
- Experience in Waste Management industry is desirable but not essential
- Forklift License is desirable but not essential
