Senior Actuarial Analyst - Pricing Model Development & Analytics

Our client, Aspen, is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their Pricing Model Development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of the company by delivering high‑quality actuarial services and solving complex technical challenges.

Location: London (Hybrid working)

Opportunity to work with a leading global insurance provider. Key role in shaping the strategic objectives of the company. Chance to develop a deep understanding of the Insurance Pricing Platform.

What you\’ll do:

• Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the Modelling team plans
• Deliver key actuarial projects in line with Actuarial strategic vision
• Perform, analyse and document conclusions to assist Actuarial management with business decisions
• Provide appropriate level of documentation and training to all users of actuarial work
• Contribute to improving the Aspen actuarial process
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Underwriters, Finance, Claims, Ceded Reinsurance, and other internal functions
• Gather information and contribute to prioritisation of assigned actuarial projects

What you bring:

• Strong knowledge of actuarial analysis, modelling, and communication
• Proven capability in applying industry knowledge in shaping actuarial strategy
• Understanding of coding, database design & effective process flow
• Knowledge of programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python, C#, R, etc.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Ability to organise work to meet deadlines
