The role: As a SCADA Systems Engineer, you will bring an innovative approach to problem solving, working with highly skilled engineers to help you develop and succeed in your career. The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge of SCADA, ideally GeoSCADA, PLC, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and good knowledge of SCADA systems, in particular GeoSCADA, Wonderware / AVEVA System Platform, FactoryTalk View SE or WinCC, and knowledge of instrumentation & process control automation.

Duties include:

  • Writing detailed functional design specifications
  • The configuration of system architecture, network connections
  • Production, modification, testing and commissioning of SCADA software
  • UK Site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)
  • For Lead positions, must be able to demonstrate ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers to get the best output.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
  • Ideally certified in GeoSCADA, AVEVA Engineer or Wonderware System Platform training with 2 years+ experience
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Clean UK Driving License
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
