An exceptional private hospital located in a prestigious area of Central London is seeking an experienced and motivated Paediatric Anaesthetic Registrar to join their team.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Minimum 3 years’ anaesthetic experience with exposure to paediatrics
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Evidence of working effectively in high-pressure environments
Main Duties:
- Deliver safe and effective anaesthetic care to children across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Support pre-operative assessments and post-operative recovery plans in collaboration with consultants and the wider MDT
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring best practice in paediatric anaesthesia is maintained
- Contribute to clinical governance activities, including audit, incident review, and patient safety initiatives
- Take part in departmental teaching, simulation training, and junior doctor education
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current guidelines and practices in paediatric anaesthesia
