Senior Raw Materials Technologist (Subject Matter Expert)

·Evaluate potential and existing suppliers to ensure they meet quality, safety, and legal standards. ·Conduct supplier visits. ·Maintain raw material specifications to a high standard, including measurable tolerances. ·Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and utilize results to drive improvement. ·Support commercial/NPD teams in approving new raw materials to site. ·Train and manage the intake team to ensure checks are carried out correctly. Ensure supplier non-conformances are captured and corrective actions taken in a timely manner. ·Serve as the lead liaison to communicate and investigate non-conformities related to raw materials. ·Maintain seasonality calendars to identify challenging periods and mitigate potential shortfalls. ·Conduct vulnerability assessments and communicate/mitigate risks to the business. ·Assist the customer support team in building specifications and answering queries related to raw materials. ·Address customer complaints related to raw material quality. ·Foster strong partnerships with suppliers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
