THE ROLE
Within Employment, a growing market leading team, with an international focus.
An Associate/Senior Associate is sought to join on a 6 month FTC basis.
Whilst workloads will vary, you will typically spend around 80% of the time on contentious and advisory work and 20% on transactional support.
Typical work includes the following:
Contentious Advice
- Senior exits and settlement agreements
- Restrictive covenants breaches, planning team moves
- Other contentious advice (e. grievances and disciplinaries)
Other Advisory
- Change projects (e. redundancy and TUPE processes)
- Contracts, bonus schemes and handbooks
- Business immigration
- Other ad hoc advice (e. gender pay gap reporting, holiday pay, furlough)
Disputes
- Tribunal litigation (e. unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination)
- High court litigation (e. team moves and bonus claims)
- Investigations
- Strike ballots and union activities
Training and Horizon Scanning
Cross Departmental and/or Transactional Support
- Corporate: Deals, investee company exits and IPO's
- Commercial: Outsourcings, GDPR
- Real Estate: TUPE issues
- High court litigation (e. team moves and bonus claims)

A versatile Employment lawyer with c 3-6pqe you will have outstanding academics and be competent in advising on all aspects of Employment law
