Our client, a global Insurance organisation, is seeking an IT Development Director to oversee all of their internal and external application development activities. This strategic role will also manage processes to drive their agile methodology across Development, Security, Infrastructure and Architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all application development activities, including application development and application support teams.
- Work with Business Relationship Directors and leadership team peers to define end-to-end development and demand management processes that ensure clarity and improved efficiencies.
- Oversight of application development c£5m budget.
- Management of Development managers, production support manager, team leaders, developers, scrum teams, and 3rd parties.
- Define a technical vision and strategic roadmap for the application technology estate.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Proficient in application technology across multiple knowledge areas, with a solid background in IT and management of development teams.
- Team management experience ā including management of 3rd parties.
