Chartered Building Surveyor – Essex – Work on Exciting, Diverse Projects

We\’re recruiting a Chartered Building Surveyor to get involved in a number of challenging and rewarding projects. A thriving, independent Building Consultancy with offices across the UK are growing their team in Essex and need a talented Building Surveyor to collaborate with the Consultancy Director on a diverse range of interesting commercial and residential projects.

The opportunity presents a great mix of core Building Surveying responsibilities, allowing you to build your expertise across a variety of areas. Your key duties will include:

• Conducting Building and Structural Surveys
• Performing Condition Surveys
• Managing Party Wall Matters and Dilapidations
• Administering Contracts
• Analysing Building Defects
• Producing clear and concise reports, supported by detailed drawings

We\’re looking for a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS preferred) with a proactive approach and at least 2 years\’ post-qualification experience. You should have:

• Extensive industry experience and a solid working knowledge of relevant legislation
• A strong understanding of RICS building surveying regulations
• Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to maintain strong client and team relationships
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines
