Senior Draughtsperson

Are you an experienced Draughtsperson with a passion for engineering design? This is your chance to be a part of our growing team! LSTC is a dynamic and rapidly growing business in need of two talented Draughtspersons to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and assist in the development and training of junior team members. We are seeking two experienced Draughtspersons with relevant industry experience and CAD expertise – Microstation 2D/3D CAD and Solid Edge 3D CAD. Responsibilities and accountabilities include: Producing a wide range of CAD drawings using different software Undertaking QA/QC checks across a broad range of engineering CAD deliverables and self-checking own work prior to approval stage Carrying out design assurance and drawing office QA/QC checks in accordance with client needs and LSTC quality procedures Working alongside and supporting Project Managers and our Drawing Office Manager Providing guidance and training as appropriate including the mentoring of members of your team Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications: Ideally educated to A level standard (or equivalent) but must have at least 5 GCSE’s (Grades A-C or equivalent) including English and Maths Must hold a UK Driving licence (or one acceptable to our insurers) Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience Good working knowledge of relevant software (including Microstation Connect, SolidEdge, NX or Open Utilities Substation) Up-to-date working knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices and applying relevant essential Health and Safety/CDM issues Ready to take the next step in your career?
