Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing all fishing & remedial tools and related equipment. Key priorities include service quality, job preparation, planning, and safety.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Participates in tool-box meetings with maintenance team members.
- Fully complies with QHSE policies and standards, and wears PPE at all times.
- Maintains equipment in good, safe condition and reports issues to the supervisor.
- Reads and interprets mechanical drawings to produce high-quality products.
- Inspects, supports, modifies, assembles, maintains, pressure tests, and repairs mechanical equipment, including fault diagnosis and evaluation.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years experience with down hole tools, preferably in fishing and remedial equipment.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating Break Out Machines (BOM).
- Ability to work independently, read and understand technical drawings.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and continuous improvement commitment.
- Effective communication with supervisors and peers.
