Kinetic are recruiting for a Production Planner / Production Supervisor to work within a large, international manufacturing company based in Dukinfield. The company manufactures everyday products that are used in households and businesses throughout the UK and Europe. You, along with the manager, will ensure the efficient flow of the supply chain process. This is a contract position which is working for a minimum of 10 - 15 months. If you are interested in the position you must be able to commit to this time and more.
As the Order Fulfilment/Production Planner, you will be:
- Managing all orders site wide.
- Converting incoming orders into jobs for the production team in a timely manner.
- Planning the orders for the day and distributing to the production team.
- Working from 2 ERP systems.
- Understanding and managing the OTIF and budgetary requirements.
- Speaking to customers and companies on the phone and on Teams.
- Regularly speaking to the sales & supply chain departments to plan the orders for the machines and the operators.
- Attending meetings - via teams and face to face.
For this Planning role, we are looking for someone that is energetic, confident, and outgoing along with:
- Planning experience within manufacturing.
- Experience of Fulfilment and/or Warehouse Administration is vital.
- Confident telephone manner and able to converse with operators to directors.
- Able to work under pressure and manage busy periods.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Able and willing to work in an office environment but can also go on the shop floor when required.
- Familiarity with supply chain systems and operations is a must.
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral.
- Right to work in the UK.
This is a contract position that would suit an ex team leader or supervisor who has experience within planning. You will receive:
- £14.00ph
- 08.45 - 17.00
- Monday to Friday
