The IT & Events Technician joins a team of four and is directly managed by the Director of IT Services and supervised by the Senior IT Technician and Network Manager. The College is predominantly an MS Windows based site with a small number of Macs. The college is a full BYOD site and uses Office 365 and SharePoint for our VLE.
This is a customer-facing role with the core function providing IT and Events support. The postholder will be involved in the day-to-day running of the IT Department, which includes liaising with all departments and delivering clear communication when managing IT queries. This position may suit someone who aspires to progress in an IT career, and the postholder will have the opportunity to learn and develop alongside a professional, friendly, and supportive IT Team.
