The successful candidate will report to the QA Manager and will be involved in ensuring that APIs, raw materials, packaging components, consumables and service suppliers used by Norbrook Laboratories Limited are controlled and monitored in accordance with Norbrook SOPs, regulatory commitments and cGMP. This position is a good entry point for someone wanting to move into the quality aspects of material supply and supplier management and wishes to build/further a career in quality assurance. Full training for this position will be provided for the successful candidate. Main Activities/Tasks Involved in the review and approval of new APIs, raw materials, packaging components, consumables and service suppliers through the Vendor Approval program and any other applicable SOPs Conducting continuous quality assessments of APIs, raw materials, packaging components, consumables and service suppliers through the Vendor Maintenance program and any other applicable SOPs Preparation, maintenance and review of Product Supply Chain maps Review and authorisation of Raw Material Specifications, Packaging Component Specifications and any other documents as required to support QA department activities Provide support for investigating Quality Investigations, Deviations, Complaints, Supplier Complaints, OOSs, etc. Assist in the continuous review of relevant information sources (including pharmacopoeia, EudraGMP, CVM, etc.) to ensure that all APIs, raw materials, packaging components, consumables and service suppliers utilised by Norbrook Laboratories Limited are in compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements and product registrations Essential Criteria: The successful candidate should be educated to a minimum of GCSE level standard or equivalent, with grade C or above in English and Maths. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Quality role in the Pharmaceutical or related industry. Previous experience in MS office applications including Word and Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organisation and proven track record of completing tasks OTIF (on time, in full). Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive and possess excellent organisational and motivation skills Desirable Criteria: Knowledge of GMP and Quality Management Systems. OCR/RSA/EDCL or equivalent qualification Knowledge and/or experience in working within computerised Quality Management Systems Duration: Full Time, Permanent Location: Newry Additional Information: Applicants should be able to provide proof that they have a right to work in the UK at the time of their application.
