About

Established for over 30 years, our client offers in-store fixtures and promotions direct to the end users as well as trade; offering in-house design, production and manufacturing all under one roof.

Now looking for a highly creative and passionate Midweight 3D Concept Designer to join the team. A fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world’s biggest health and beauty brands.

Job Role

Take and interpret design briefs from the senior Design team, Account Managers directly from the client

Research the brief, considering the brand, customer, marketplace, and competitors, ensuring you fully understand the client’s requirements

Produce creative concept design ideas through visualisations, sketching and CAD modelling

Attend internal design review meetings to present, discuss, and take feedback

Work closely with internal departments, to ensure designs can be achieved accurately and as close to the conceived design, as possible

Share your research and concepts with clients at external meetings and pitch presentations

Support and mentor the junior team members

Skills and Experience

Proficiency in 3DS Max/V-Ray and Adobe CC is essential; SketchUp experience would be a bonus, but not essential

Absolute passion for design and delivering retail experiences, that consider the brand, customer, marketplace and competitors

Good understanding of marketing and brand communications, with the ability to identify new trends and innovation

Able to research and gather insights into customer behaviour

Able to present to a few or a wider audience and engage the audience in your story

A good listener and communicator and comfortable client-facing

Proactive, adaptable & flexible to meet the demands of the industry

A strong commercial portfolio showcasing an extensive range of retail design and retail marketing

Ability to work as part of a team or independently

A thorough understanding of the materials and processes, required to execute and deliver your proposed designs
