Vallum's client are a large scale General Contractor in the data centre and pharmaceutical space across Europe looking to expand the Senior HSE team due to new projects being awarded to my client.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all HSE efforts across multiple data centre construction sites in the UK.
- Lead a team of 4-5 HSE professionals.
- Continuously improve and implement existing HSE plans, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and client-specific safety regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic guidance on HSE best practices and risk mitigation.
- Mentor and manage site-based HSE teams; lead training and toolbox talks.
- Interface with clients and represent the company in all HSE-related discussions.
- Generate reports, KPIs, and performance data for internal and client reporting.
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing HSE on large-scale data centre, high-tech, or mission-critical projects.
- Relevant HSE qualifications - (Nebosh/Iosh preferable)
- Deep understanding of UK HSE legislation and practices and strong understanding of ISO 45001 and 14001 is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
