HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Location: Newcastle under Lyme
Salary: £19.50 per hour + £5 per day extra on late shifts
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shifts:

• Early Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm
• Late Shift: 1:30pm – 8:30pm (+ alternate Saturdays 7:00am – 1:30pm)

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our well-equipped, modern workshop in Stoke. You\’ll be working on mainly trucks, with some trailers and LCVs, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.

Your Role:

• Routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and LCVs
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensuring all work meets industry safety and compliance standards
• Keeping accurate service records and working within workshop guidelines

What We\’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to safety and quality standards
