Social network you want to login/join with: Building Services Manager – Preconstruction We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Building Services Manager to join our high-performing Preconstruction team in the Midlands. The successful candidate will manage the preconstruction phase through tender and design development, ensuring the production of high-quality information and accurate costs. You will work alongside our Preconstruction team, conducting technical reviews of tender documents, liaising with the estimating team, and adjusting designs accordingly. You will also coordinate the supply chain and oversee service handovers between preconstruction and delivery teams to ensure a technically and contractually compliant services tender. This role involves working across multiple projects simultaneously. You will be based out of our Birmingham or Nottingham office, with support for hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities Manage qualitative, technical, and commercial appraisal of building services tenders. Identify approved services solutions for tenders. Ensure compliance of services design across all projects. Perform design gap analysis (Building Services). Coordinate the supply chain. Participate in tender launch meetings, mid-tender reviews, and adjudications. Oversee service handovers to ensure compliance. Reinforce our customer-first ethic. Requirements Essential Appropriate CSCS card. Valid driving licence. Managerial experience in the services sector. Understanding of relevant M&E and services legislation. Commercial acumen. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with a variety of M&E projects across sectors. Desirable Level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent). Design or estimating experience. Working towards MCIOB or CIBSE accreditation.
