Job Role: Hardware Design Engineer Location: Telford Salary: Up to £50,000 plus benefits As a Hardware Design Engineer, your remit will include: Electrical site surveys Calculations to support sizing and selection (Power, Short Circuit, Voltage Drop, Heat Dissipation, etc.) Equipment/component selection in line with client specification and internal preference Single line diagrams for power, control and networking/communications Electrical schematics and cable schedules Procurement of general components and materials Manufacturing handover, documentation and support As-built documentation from Testing and Commissioning Complying with all appropriate industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards Meeting project milestones Contribution to the continuous improvement of the Hardware Design department Maintenance of the Technical Construction File What you will bring to the company: Apprenticeship/Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Minimum 18 months in a similar role Experience using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical Good understanding of control system electrical design What the company can offer you: BUPA Medical plan Life Insurance Employee assistance programme Programme of personal development & training Free car parking EV charge points on-site Social & wellbeing activity programme #J-18808-Ljbffr
