Are you an experienced IBA professional looking for your next challenge in the London insurance market? We’re on the lookout for a highly organized and detail-oriented IBA Client Account Handler to join our dynamic team.
Role Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Location: Remote working from within the UK
Salary: £45,000 > £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits
We are partnered with a global information technology company with a strong foothold and a focused division within the insurance industry. If you have at least 3 years of experience in a London Market broking house, a strong grasp of insurance accounting, and top-tier reconciliation skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities for the IBA Client Account Handler will include but are not limited to:
- Managing client and insurer accounts in line with regulatory and company standards
- Handling account reconciliations and swiftly resolving queries
- Accurately allocating cash receipts and payments
- Collaborating with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintaining and reconciling client and insurer ledgers
- Supporting month-end and year-end financial closings
- Proactively managing aged debt and unallocated cash
- Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
- Using GXB (Global XB) or similar broking/accounting platforms (a big plus!)
Skills required for the IBA Client Account Handler will include but are not limited to:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IBA role within the London insurance market
- Solid knowledge of IBA accounting, reconciliation, and cash allocation
- Familiarity with GXB or equivalent broking platforms is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills and confidence in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A sharp eye for detail and high level of numeracy
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards
