Position: Area Maintenance Technician/ Handyperson (Plumbing Bias)\\n\\nSalary: £28,540.46 per annum\\n\\nLocation: Covering sites around Manchester\\n\\nHours: 40 hours per week (Potential for Overtime)\\n\\nBenefits: Company Car/Van with Fuel Card, strong company pension, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)\\n\\nWe are advertising this Handyperson role on behalf of our client, a national facilities management supplier to work on commercial supermarkets.\\n\\nJob Purpose:\\n\\nThis is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations. The purpose of this role is to carry out non-technical repairs and minor PPM's. This is a plumbing based role while also carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, basic electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites.\\n\\nKey Accountabilities:\\n\\nPrioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.\\nComplete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.\\nResponding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.\\nEnsuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.\\nAlthough aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion there may be times that the AMT may be required to attend other sites within the Division to carry out work.\\nWork with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.\\nRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with City and client colleagues.\\nSupport other City technicians/teams with any major or minor maintenance work.\\nCarry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.\\nMonitor and update the Mercury system including live job updates.\\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\\n\\nPlumbing experience, ideally with a qualification\\nTrade qualifications would be advantageous but not essential\\nFull driving license essential\\nPrevious experience in building maintenance is required, ideally with good plumbing experience.\\nAbility to maintain and repair a range of equipment\\nQuality of repairs and maintenance\\nSpeed and efficiency of work\\nGood PC Skills – Apple and Android.\\nResponse to service call requests within agreed response times\\nAchievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales\\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\\nPlease do not apply if you do not hold a UK driving license.\\n\\nTo apply for this role please submit your full and up to date CV to Andrew Bridges at PDA Search and Selection\\n\\n(url removed) | (phone number removed)
