We’re partnered with a high-growth, B2B SaaS InsurTech who have been growing quickly over the past year and are expanding their sales team. They’re product is a first of it’s kind, data and analytics platform that is streamlining and improving the speed of traditional insurance functions. They’re looking for someone to help shape their Account Management function in London, work closely with the founding team and be an integral part of their growth as an early member. Once there you will: Become the first Account Manager in the commercial team, working closely with the founders to expand the business Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships that foster trust and client satisfaction. Proactively identify and execute upsell opportunities within the existing client base Work closely with the Customer Success team to understand client needs, usage patterns, and satisfaction levels, ensuring a smooth transition from onboarding to growth stages. Develop strategic account growth plans, aligning clients’ evolving needs with their offerings, and prepare quarterly business reviews with key accounts to reinforce value and assess upsell opportunities Consistently build champions and develop relationships with stakeholders within your accounts, whilst leveraging the founders to create exec stakeholder relationships and expand revenue Track client interactions, upsell opportunities, and account progress, maintaining detailed records to forecast growth potential accurately. Gather client insights and feedback, working closely with Product teams to refine our offerings based on real-world use cases and market demands. What you bring 4+ years in account management, preferably in the B2B SaaS, FinTech or InsurTech space. Motivation for rapid development and an eagerness to work closely with the founders of a scaling business Adaptability to succeed in a fast paced, high growth environment where the answer is not always clear Proven track record in managing upsells and strong ability to identify revenue growth opportunities within an existing client base, closing high 5 figure and 6 figure deals in your last roles A disciplined, methodical and process driven sales approach – you’ll be skilled in managing time and resources; leveraging internal stakeholders to support your ability when closing deals Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with senior-level executives and key stakeholders. Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, identify upsell triggers, and develop account growth strategies. Comfortable using CRM tools and experience in data-driven or analytics platforms is a plus. Highly motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
