Main duties:

  • You will be offering support with administrative and accounting operations to the sales teams in both the UK and France.

The role:

  • Performing general bookkeeping tasks, including daily banking transactions.
  • Recording and maintaining transaction logs.
  • Following up on overdue debtors and controlling credit on outstanding invoices.
  • Reviewing banking reconciliations.
  • Liaising with the external accounting services provider in France for VAT, tax, payroll and compliance matters.
  • Undertaking any additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • This role is likely to evolve as the market grows so strong opportunities to progress within this role for motivated candidates.

The candidate:

  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Two years’ experience in a similar role as an Accounts Assistant, or an admin role involving accounting tasks.
  • Good Excel skills, as well as a previous experience of Sage and a CRM would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

The salary: up to £30,000 per annum.
