GI Pro are recruiting for a Manual Milling / Turning Machinist to work in Northampton for our established engineering client. Working a day shift, offering a salary of £30k - £35k per annum. This is a permanent role.
Main business is making Lifting Equipment. Machining on Turning and milling machines (90% manual 10% CNC). Bespoke and small batch product work from 1 part up to 150 parts. Working in a team of three. Working from drawings and designs, collaborate with internal design team and fabricator to problem solve each bespoke project and come up with a solution. Milling machine is a Pro Trac machine. Quality Inspection with Micrometers and verniers. Relaxed atmosphere with the emphasis being on quality not quantity.
Person SPEC
You will have the ability to work on Manual Milling & Turning machines as well as use CNCs. Will have a passion to problem solve and work closely with the design and fabrication teams to find solutions.
