About the Role:

As an SEN Supply Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of educational settings, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Communication and Sensory Needs

Your responsibilities as a Supply SEN Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Support students’ emotional, social, and educational development in a nurturing and inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and maintain consistent classroom behaviour strategies

What we are looking for:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or be working towards it (or equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Experience working with SEN pupils (in education or care)
  • Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach
  • Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
