About the Role:
As an SEN Supply Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of educational settings, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
- Communication and Sensory Needs
Whether you're an experienced SEN teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to step into SEN, we’ll support you every step of the way!
Your responsibilities as a Supply SEN Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Support students’ emotional, social, and educational development in a nurturing and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and maintain consistent classroom behaviour strategies
What we are looking for:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or be working towards it (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Experience working with SEN pupils (in education or care)
- Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach
- Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
