Water Treatment Technician

We're currently recruiting for an experienced water treatment professional to join a water solutions specialist.\\n\\nThe successful Technician will have a clear understanding of L8. Technicians need a good understanding of basic monitoring tasks associated with L8. They will be computer literate and self motivated.

They will be trustworthy, reliable with good organisational & planning skills. It is essential that they have a flexible approach to their work and confidential with customer and company information.\\n\\nDuties\\nTemperature monitoring from domestic water treatment outlets\\nTemperature monitoring from water calorifiers\\nTemperature monitoring from cold storage water tanks\\nLegionella sampling from cold storage water tanks\\nLegionella sampling from domestic water outlets\\nFlushing of rarely used outlets including emergency showers\\nDescale & disinfect showers\\nDescale & disinfect water outlets\\nBlowdown of calorifiers\\nCarry out tank inspections to required standard\\nClosed system testing analysis\\nBoiler checks\\nPotable samples\\nSafe delivery of samples for analysis within required time limits\\nTesting of cooling towers\\nCleaning\\nWeekly checks of cooling towers including drift eliminator checks, conductivity, PH etc.\\nMaintaining customer records\\nTake resamples when required\\n\\nThe position comes with a company vehicle, laptop, phone and pension.
