We are working with a Tier 1 national contractor who needs an experienced Senior QS to join and initially help on a new major scheme in Oxfordshire before working on several new opportunities across the Reading and Oxford areas. The project is a £55 million new build office scheme including high specification fit out. The scheme is on site now and due to finish late 2025, so there is an opportunity to join now and start procurement of the final major packages.

You will be running the scheme from a commercial perspective. The role will be to work with the design and delivery teams to ensure the scheme is delivered on time and to budget to a client that has potentially 2 or 3 more schemes to follow on in a negotiated format should this be a success. You will be working alongside and managing a Project and Assistant level QS on site and have oversight and responsibility for the commercial health of the projects including managing subcontract packages, procurement of materials and plant, remeasure, valuations, payments, managing variation accounts, forecasting, and CVRs.

They have excellent salary and benefits available for the right people and are fully committed to the region from a regional hub in Reading. They have secured a pipeline of work through to 2029 on a range of frameworks and 2-stage negotiated schemes, so if you want a real challenge and have the ability to manage large, complex packages and implement your own ideas, then apply today.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
