Joinery Senior Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Experienced in Joinery / Drywall\\nMy client is a speciliast joinery and fit out contractor that carry out high-end and premium projects.\\nThey have developed market leading expertise in interior fit-out and joinery.\\nKey Duties and Responsibilities are:\\n * Oversee measures and report variances.\\n * Prepare and settle interim claims.\\n * repare supporting documentation for the client and their consultants.\\n * Identify, measure, and agree variations.\\n * Cost investigations.\\n * Prepare and submit weekly financial report to client and client QS.\\n * Manage several projects at different stages at any one time.\\n * Provide accounts department with monthly cost/valuation information for costing purposes and quarterly for management accounts within the required time scales.\\n * Advice to management on contractual matters.\\n * Measurement and agreement of Project Final Accounts.\\n * Essential Qualities the successful candidate should have:\\n * Recent and relevant surveying experience in a similar position within the construction/fit out industry.\\n * Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office and Excel.\\n * Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.\\n * Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques.\\n * Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment.\\n * Continually seeking ways to improve, adapt and innovate while meeting compliance and commercial requirements.\\nFWH: One day working from home and 4 days working in the office
