Mazco Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company on the night shift. This is a hands-on role for an experienced machinist who can program, set, and operate a CMZ TA-30-YS-640 fixed head lathe with twin spindles, Y-axis milling, and Fanuc controls.
You’ll be producing small batch components in a fast-paced, low to medium-volume environment, typically in quantities of 1–10 off. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, with a strong understanding of machining best practices and a meticulous approach to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate a CMZ TA-30-YS-640 CNC lathe (Fanuc controls)
- Machine a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
- Work independently from CAD and engineering drawings
- Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
- Select appropriate tooling and work holding solutions
- Maintain high standards of precision and finish
Requirements:
- Proven CNC programming experience (Fanuc essential)
