We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and manage maintenance/repair needs.
- Adhere to safety management standards and protocols.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficient operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Counterbalance Driver.
- Valid counterbalance forklift driving licence.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
