As an integral member of the Corporate Accounting team, you will assist the Tax Accountant with the preparation of various State filings and Corporate Compliance Reporting. Research applicable state tax laws and provide analytical data support.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare state and local filings timely and accurately: sales and use tax, annual reports, business licenses, unclaimed property, 1099 forms and other business-related filings and payments.
  • Provide completed filing packages and payment confirmations to Tax Accountant for review.
  • Resolve incoming tax notices, identify root causes, comprehend trends of repetitive notices, follow up with tax authorities & 3rd Party Tax advisors.
  • Maintain and organize corporate documents and tax files in digital format.
  • Assist with tax research and special projects with varying levels of involvement and responsibility.
  • Assist Tax Accountant with Data preparation for Transfer pricing review and Yearend Tax Provisions.
  • Assist in Sales Tax review and manage Billing process for Digital Academy.
  • Keep up to date with developments in the field of direct responsibility.
  • Assist with Annual Compliance reporting.
