We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team hybrid. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, contract management, and financial control for various M&E projects. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for M&E projects.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
- Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure cost control.
- Provide commercial advice to project teams and senior management.
- Evaluate and manage claims, change orders, and final accounts.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration in the M&E sector.
- Proficiency in relevant QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
- Familiarity with standard contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT, FIDIC) is a plus.
