Thrive Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Furniture Designer to join our market leading manufacturing client based in Leeds. Job Purpose: As a Furniture Designer, you will collaborate within the design team to create accurate and commercially viable designs. You\’ll work closely with clients and project managers to interpret briefs and produce precise manufacturing drawings, blending your ideas with those of the sales team, project managers, and manufacturing department. Key Responsibilities: Translate client design briefs into commercially competitive product designs. Produce detailed production drawings and bills of materials. Manage designs for multiple projects throughout their lifecycle. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders. Follow design processes and guidelines. Essential Skills: 2+ years of Solidworks CAD design experience. Furniture design experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working to tight deadlines. Proactive and creative thinking. Desirable Skills: Understanding of furniture production methods and materials. Furniture design qualifications. Design for Manufacturing experience
