What you will be doing as the Quality Manager:
- Reporting to the managing director, you will lead a small quality team, including a trainee quality engineer and two quality technicians.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Motivate and develop your team and champion quality at every level of the business.
- Auditing: Conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards. Support with supply chain audits.
- Product Approval & Inspection: Lead the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Quality Systems: Take ownership of the business management systems, ensuring compliance with all third-party approvals and certifications.
- Culture: Drive a culture of quality across the organisation by identifying areas for improvement, resolving compliance issues, and boosting customer satisfaction while reducing costs linked to non-conformances and scrap.
