Electrical Design Lead

Compamy:\\n\\nWorking for a well established MEP contractor who has worked on commercial schemes before with values ranging up to 3 million, companies that they work with include the likes of Overbury, BW Interirios and 8 Build.\\n\\nPurpose:\\nManage and lead the design process of electrical installations for construction projects, ensuring compliance with UK regulations, client requirements, and industry standards.\\n\\nBased in London office 4 days and 1 day Hybrid\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n 1. Lead and manage electrical design through project stages from stage 3/4 to stage 5 on predominantly commercial projects\\n\\n 2. Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to develop detailed design.\\n\\n 3.

Ensure all designs comply with UK electrical standards (BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations)\\n\\n 4. Prepare and review electrical design documentation, including technical submittals, schematics and working drawings\\n\\n 5. Liaise with site project management teams to align design and installation plans.\\n\\n 6.

Support tendering processes by preparing technical designs\\n\\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\\n\\n 1. Experience in electrical design within the UK construction sector.\\n\\n 2. Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and building regulations.\\n\\n 3.

Working on multiple projects\\n\\n 4. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and lighting and cable calculations.\\n\\n 5. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ
