This is a varied role based in a busy commercial shipyard which will also involve some offsite work, so a full UK driving licence is essential. It is a great opportunity to join an established business that is committed to investing in and developing its team.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder in ship repair or other heavy industries (e.g., marine, oil & gas, infrastructure, or energy).
- Proficient in FCAW, MMA, and MIG welding processes.
- Ideally apprenticeship-trained or holds a Level 3 qualification in fabrication/welding - however, candidates with strong proven industry experience will also be considered.
- Comfortable working from engineering drawings and in line with safety and quality standards.
- Must have a full UK driving licence due to offsite work.
