The Role: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our Horizon Scanning tool. This tool is central to our efforts in reducing the time internal users spend monitoring for regulatory changes by automating the capture and processing of external regulatory updates into our database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Backlog Management: Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring that features and enhancements deliver maximum value to users.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage regularly with internal stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between the product roadmap and business objectives.
- User Engagement & Training: Develop and deliver training programmes, support user onboarding, and act as the primary contact for user inquiries and feedback.
- Data Governance & Quality: Implement and oversee data governance protocols, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and quality standards are met.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure the tool adapts to meet evolving compliance requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilise user feedback and data analytics to drive iterative improvements and enhancements to the product.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably with data products in regulatory or compliance domains.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to probe user adoption and end-to-end pipeline flows.
- Experience working independently on data challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in relevancy models.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and end-users effectively.
