We are looking for a Podiatrist to join our small committed Community team in beautiful Herefordshire. If you are seeking a diverse and interesting job alongside green space in which to live and work, this opportunity could be the very thing. Our Community Podiatry service runs clinics at sites across Herefordshire, with the main clinical base in Hereford city.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible, and highly motivated Podiatrists with the ability to work in a wide range of clinical settings. We are looking for someone who would like to build their skills within MSK and work together with our colleagues in our Podiatric surgical department to support our clinical pathways. Part-time work will be considered, and informal enquiry and visits are welcomed.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including patient education, for conditions of the foot and related structures to improve mobility, reduce pain, and maintain tissue viability.
- Provide a Podiatry service for patients with complex pathologies of the foot with a range of often coexisting medical, long-term conditions including Diabetes.
- Fully assess, differentially diagnose, and clinically manage patients, devising, implementing, and delivering care packages and taking responsibility for individual patient discharge.
