The Oracle EPM Architect is a key role responsible for defining and managing the architectural design and strategic direction of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions within the airport's finance and business planning functions. Operating at SFIA Level 6–7, this role ensures Oracle EPM Cloud platforms (including Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Consolidation) are effectively architected to support accurate decision-making, financial control, and business agility.
This role works closely with Finance, Strategy, and IT teams to ensure that the EPM ecosystem delivers value through automation, integration, and analytical insight. The Oracle EPM Architect is responsible for solution design, architectural governance, and technology leadership for all EPM-related initiatives. The potholders provides end-to-end architecture oversight, supporting planning cycles, reporting requirements, and financial consolidation across the enterprise. They ensure that the EPM environment is secure, scalable, and integrated with Oracle ERP and other corporate systems.
Principal Accountability- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture for Oracle EPM Cloud solutions (e.g., Planning, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS).
- Lead the design of integrated, scalable, and secure EPM architectures that align with finance and strategic planning processes.
- Collaborate with Finance and Business stakeholders to translate planning and reporting requirements into technical designs.
- Promote standardisation, automation, and efficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
- Provide architectural assurance and design leadership on EPM implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and audit requirements within the EPM environment.
- Liaise with Oracle PS, system integrators, and internal teams to optimise platform performance and usability.
- Stay current with Oracle EPM Cloud roadmap and emerging best practices, recommending adoption strategies.
- Extensive experience architecting Oracle EPM Cloud applications, ideally in large and complex organisations.
- Expertise in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes and platforms.
- Proven ability to lead/govern EPM solution design from architecture through to implementation.
- Familiarity with Hyperion, Smart View, and Oracle EPM tools and reporting capabilities.
