Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area. The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in its field with an annual turnover of £40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff.
A further Multi-skilled Shift Engineer is required to join the engineering team of 6 (4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts). Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Multi-skilled engineer will be responsible for the following across the site:
- Providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Maintaining a variety of Production Machinery including Conveyors, Packaging Equipment, Weighing Machinery, Bagging Machinery, Labelling Equipment & Ovens
- Fault Finding both Electrically & Mechanically
- Assisting in the Installation of new machinery
You will ideally have experience working within a relevant factory environment with the following skills/qualifications:
- Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Experience
- Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications
- Fault Finding Ability both Electrically & Mechanically
Salary to suit experience, quarterly bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension, employee discount, 4 x Life Assurance.
