Overview

The Governing Board of Westmorland Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented, reliable and efficient person to take on this key leadership role in our successful school. The School Business Manager reports to the Headteacher for all day to day financial matters and is accountable to the Governing Board for the effective conduct of financial, business and estate management.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing school finances, ICT packages, health & safety, premises management and HR systems and processes. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team using finance systems with the ability to work to self-direct workloads.

Qualifications

• Have strong finance and management experience
• Be able to promote a high standard of business ethos in the administrative function of the school
• Show strong working relationships and excellent communication skills
