Job Title: Despatch Pool Operative Location: Belfast Bakery (BT12 6LP) Shifts: Despatch Pool – A minimum of 4 shifts over an 8-day period will be guaranteed at 12 hour shifts. The start times of the shifts could be either 0700hrs or 1900hrs. So, whats it all about? As our next Despatch Pool Operative, youll be instrumental in ensuring the continuous and efficient running of our warehouse operation. You will be keen to comply with company and legal standards around hygiene and food safety. You will play an active role in the delivery of great quality bread products to our customers. You will be responsible for the below: Loading and unloading vehicles in a timely manner Working with colleagues to ensure that the team delivers their output targets verus plan on a shift basis Decanting bread as required, and you will spread goods for customer deliveries. Pulling completed orders to bays for radial despatch and clearing lines in the bakery This list is only an example of the tasks you may have to undertake, and you will be expected to work with the despatch team to meet all appropriate KPIs. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be adaptable and resilient. You will be flexible and be able to undertake different roles as assigned by the despatch team. You will be happy to take on new challenges and continuously learn about areas within despatch. The Key Requirements… Experience of having worked in a fast-moving environment; ideally warehouse, food, pharma, packaging etc Adaptability and flexibility Resilience Confident communicator Previous experience of operating MHE would be an advantage – full training will be provided on the job.
