An established UK-based enterprise is hiring for a Supplier relationship expert to lead strategic supplier and contract oversight within its technology procurement division. This is an exciting time to join a mature and well-structured procurement function undergoing a shift towards extracting greater value from long-standing contracts, while also engaging in new sourcing initiatives. Operating within a technology spend portfolio exceeding £100 million, the focus is on infrastructure services and major outsourcing deals, including a key, complex partnership with a Tier 1 IT service provider.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will drive commercial performance and vendor relationships across a suite of mission-critical tech service categories. Responsibilities will include:
- Owning the commercial and contractual relationship with a flagship outsourced IT supplier
- Overseeing contract governance, performance benchmarks, and service delivery across legacy systems and infrastructure platforms
- Working alongside senior leaders across IT, procurement, and operational units
- Supporting the integration of SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) principles within procurement strategy
- Acting as a key point of escalation for service disruptions and contract renegotiations
- Liaising with legal teams to ensure contractual compliance and effective risk management
This role reports directly to the Head of Technology Procurement and collaborates closely with broader category leads across the organisation's indirect and tech procurement arms.
